If you lead an active lifestyle, or are looking for an energy boost – a good balance of supplements can help you along your journey. The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) has been linked with regulating sleep patterns whilst Vitamin C has been proven to reduce tiredness and fatigue especially, after exercise.
As far as how the cannabinoid CBD may affect sleep, some research indicates that this may interact with specific receptors, potentially affecting the sleep/wake cycle and helping you to achieve a longer, deeper sleep. Additionally, CBD will not make you drowsy as some suspect.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) has many receptors throughout the body and by supporting your ECS with a regular supplement of CBD, you may help to manage some of the symptoms of stress. By also supporting your gut brain axis with the addition of a Biotic, you can help to maintain a healthy gut biome, something which is often affected by prolonged periods of stress and anxiety.
Studies suggest the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) may help to regulate inflammation and pain response in the body and due to the way that CBD interacts with your ECS, you may find that incorporating CBD into your lifestyle could have an impact on the inflammation often associated with injury.

CBD Oil FAQ
What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol, a natural compound extracted from the hemp plant. Ingesting CBD extract through oil, capsule or topical form reacts with your body’s regulatory system, the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and can help to keep your body in balance. The ECS is responsible for regulating bodily functions like sleep, our immune systems, as well as mood.

Does CBD Get you high?
No, CBD products do not get you high. As CBD is extracted from the cannabis plant, people often wrongly assume products that include it will make you feel high. However, it is the THC component of the cannabis plant that gives you a euphoric feeling of being high which is why it is strictly regulated in the UK and may often see some products claim to be “THC Free”. On the other hand the CBD component actually helps your body’s regulating system to keep it balanced.

How much should I take?
Working out how much CBD to take and when to take it can be difficult! Especially because different dosages of CBD work for different people depending on their height, weight, health and lifestyle. But we always recommend first time customers start with a lower dose and try one or two sprays morning and night. This can be slowly increased until you find a level that works for you.
As your body becomes used to the CBD extract, it adapts, meaning you can increase the dosage and move up to a higher strength oil.

What’s the best way to take CBD?
Low strength CBD oil is perfect for first time CBD users. 100% natural and made with MCT oil, our CBD oils are easily absorbed into your body. We advise you to start with just one drop or spray of oil as part of your bedtime routine if you’re new to CBD, this can slowly be increased until you find the dosage that works for you. The spray-heads and pipettes provided with our CBD oils makes measuring out dosage quick and simple.
Why do people take CBD?
Just as people take vitamins to supplement their body, CBD is taken to support The Endocannabinoid System. The ECS helps to regulate the immune system, bodily functions such as sleeping and is integral in balancing mood, anxiety and even sex drive.
